Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), India’s first shore-based integrated Steel Plant, invites applications from engineers to join as Management Trainee(Technical).
Number of posts : 195 (UR – 125, SC – 21, ST – 5, OBC – 44 ) – 2 posts earmarked for PWD ( Partially Deaf – 1, Partially Blind – 1)

Payscale: Rs.20600-46500 + other allowances as applicable.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a Recognized University/Institute in the disciplines of METALLURGY / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / CHEMICAL / CIVIL / ELECTRONICS / CERAMICS / INSTRUMENTATION with minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

by June 30, 2010 can also apply
Age: Born not earlier than April 1, 1985 (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 for OBC and 10 for PWD)
Selection Procedure: Based on a written followed by interview of selected candidates.
Test Centres: Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai
Training: Candidates selected as Management Trainee(Technical) will be taken in two
batches and placed on training for one year. On successful completion of training, they will be designated as Junior Managers.
How to apply: Application process is completely online. An application fee of Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD candidates exempted) must be deposited in “RINL/VSP Power Jyothi Current Account No. 30589461220” at any of the core banking branches of State Bank of India in the prescribed Challan.
The Original Registration Slip and Original counterfoil of the Challan (VSP copy), is to be sent by SPEED POST to “Application Collection Centre, Ground Floor, C – 217, Sector – 63, NOIDA – 201307, Uttar Pradesh”. The envelope containing the application must be superscibed with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST of Management Trainee(Technical) in RINL/VSP”.
