Punjab police invites application for 725 constables in intelligence cadre

Punjab police has invited the application for the recruitment of 725 male and female intelligence assistants in the rank of constables under the pay band of Rs. 10300 – 34800 plus grade pay Rs. 3200. The online application procedure for Punjab Police intelligence assistant recruitment 2016 has started on September 01 and last date to fill application form is September 21, 2016.  The details on Punjab Police intelligence assistant recruitment 2016 like number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection procedure, important dates and how to apply are given below.

Punjab Police Intelligence Assistant Vacancy Details:

Age Limit:

• The minimum age (as on January 01, 2016) for recruitment at the rank of constable should be 18 years (both male/female) and maximum age should be 28 years
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes would be entitled to a relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of 5 years over and above the above-mentioned upper age limit (28 years)
• Ex-Serviceman shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years, plus the number of years of service, rendered in the Indian Defence Forces

Educational Qualification:

• The aspiring candidates must have graduation from any recognised university and possess ‘O’ level from DOEACC
• B.Sc /B.Tech /BE in information technology or Computer Science or Information System or BCA or Post Graduate in Computer Application from recognised university or institutions
• Candidates must have knowledge of Punjabi Language

Application Procedure:

• Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before making any entry or selecting any option. Candidate should enter all the required details while filling up the on-line application form.
• The filling of online application has two parts: (i) Submission of Application Form and (ii) Uploading of Fee Payment Details & Fee Challan. The second part is meant only for those who are not exempted from payment of fee.
