The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has invited applications to fill a total of 2664 vacancies to the Group ‘C’ posts of Clerk and Data Entry Operator in a number of departments of Punjab Government. The last date to apply for the announced jobs is April 18, 2016.
The candidates, interested in the posts, can apply online in prescribed format through the official website on or before the last date of application. The candidates from general category have to pay Rs 600 and SC/BC candidates have to remit an amount of Rs 150 as application fee.
According to the selection process, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a typing test of 300 words at speed of 30 words per minute in ‘Assess or Joy Font’ to be conducted by the recruitment authority.
Educational qualification:
The applicants are required to have a graduate degree from any recognised university or institution as per UGC norms. The candidates applying for the posts must have studied Punjabi language up to matriculation. They must have Information Technology experience at personal computer or have done ‘O’ Level certificate in Computer Information Technology.
Age limit:
The candidates from all the categories must not be less than 18 years in age and the upper age limit for general category candidates is 37 years. The applicants from ST / ST / OBC categories must not be more than 42 years old.
