Fresher Jobs in India 2020 – Latest Updates

It’s natural to be worried about starting a career at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic induced slowdown has impacted jobs.

But as businesses limp back to new normalcy, fresher jobs in India are showing signs of revival. Various companies are hiring or have announced their willingness to hire in the near future.

While it’s good news for fresh graduates looking for a job, getting one is tough due to new ways of hiring. The COVID-19 pandemic has altered the way recruiters hire.

Looks like the fashion of 9 to 5 job will soon be over. Post COVID-19, the dynamics of work has changed and today recruiters have to look for multiple types of employees including full time in office, part-time, work from home and project-based among others.

This means freshers when working on their job search strategy have to take all these things into account. Same goes for recruiters as they have to assess candidates in the light of new challenges.

In these times, for freshers, it’s important to understand what’s that recruiters are looking for in a candidate. How the hiring process has changed and what they can do to get hired.

Four key changes that have taken place in the hiring process are:

  • Offline to online hiring
  • In-person to video interviews
  • Working from office to working from home/remote location
  • On-ground job fairs to virtual job fairs

To better your chances of finding a fresher job online, you should know how to search for fresher job openings, what skills to include in your resume, how to succeed in an online job interview and eventually what to check in a job offer letter.
