Eligibility:

For UG NRI courses
A candidate for admission to MBBS and BDS courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination (as per MCI Regulations 1997). All candidates applying in NRI category must also ensure that they have scored 50% marks in English and 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the class equivalent to 10+2 of the
Indian Boards.

For admission to B.Sc. Nursing & BPT courses a Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, backward classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in
qualifying examination be 40%.

For candidates applying from boards out of India, the marks sheets have to be forwarded to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for verification and subsequent issuance of an eligibility certificate.

MSc Nursing
In order to be eligible to apply for admission to the M.Sc.Nursing course of this college, an applicant must have passed one of the following examinations obtaining at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing examination of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot / Panjab University, Chandigarh.
B.Sc. Nursing examination of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot / Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Any other B.Sc. Nursing examination recognised by the Syndicate of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences as equivalent to (a) or (b) above. An applicant shall apply to the Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Kotkapura Road, Faridkot-151 203, Punjab for an eligibility certificate, if applicable.
Post Basic B.Sc.(IGNOU) only from Centers recognized by the Indian Nursing Council

DM/M.Ch courses
For M.Ch courses an applicant must have obtained a postgraduate degree in Surgery (MS) from a recognized University / Body as per the requirement of the Medical Council of India and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab.

For DM course an applicant must have obtained a postgraduate degree in Medicine or Pediatrics (MD) from a recognized University / Body as per the requirement of the Medical Council of India and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot,
Punjab.

For UG NRI courses – Applications have to be submitted on-line by accessing the website www.cmcludhiana.in or www.cmcludhiana.org. Every candidate will be required to log on to ‘Admissions 2012’ on the institutional websites.

MSc Nursing
Prospectus and Application Form may be obtained at the counter of the Accounts office of the C.M.C. Hospital on cash payment of Rs. 1100/- and by post – (Speed post / Registered post) by sending crossed bank draft for Rs. 1200/-. Draft should be made payable to “Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society” drawn on any scheduled bank, payable at Ludhiana. Money Order, Postal Order and Cheques are not acceptable. Applicant should send the draft to the Registrar, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana-141 008, Punjab along with a covering letter stating the complete address of the applicant including pin code and mobile / phone number.

DM/M.Ch courses
Prospectus along with application form and relevant papers will be available from prospectus counter of CMC Hospital on cash payment of Rs.1200/-. All the seats in the DM/M.Ch courses are open and available to all from India.

The application form(s) along with enclosures should (preferably) be sent by speed post/Registered post in the envelope provided, duly sealed, so as to reach the Registrar, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana-141 008, Punjab on or before 12.06.2012 (before 5.00 pm.). This may also be submitted, duly sealed, to the office of the Registrar by hand. In the latter case, a receipt must be obtained from the Office of the Registrar for the same.
