Sales Manager division Knitting Machine Parts

Job Description
Job objective:
  • Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within as assigned territory and market segment by effectively selling the companys products and related services. 
  • Personally contacts and secures new business customers. 

Key responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the sales and marketing functions of the Company. 
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology. 
  • Direct and oversee the marketing, sale and distribution activities of the Company to identify and develop new customers for the Companys products and services. 
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development. 
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. 
  • Manage major and critical developing customer accounts. 
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals as required. 
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures as required by the Companys management. 
  • Insuring that all marketing tools and materials are available to all customers and dealers. 
  • Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors. 
  • Monitor and analyse sales and marketing activity against targets and competitors. 
  • Responsible for overseeing all sales activities in assigned regions. 
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. 
  • Coordinates sales effort with finance, logistics and technical supporter. 
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services 

  • Secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a structured sales process and as well relationship-based approach 
  • Expansion of market share 
  • Explains Groz-Beckerts products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs 

Support from colleague during his/her absence
  • Sales Support Team 

Job Requirements

Personal Attributes:
  • At least 5 years experience in sales development for a foreign company in Vietnam, preferable in the Knitting/Garment Industry. 
  • Must have a good network in the garment industry in Vietnam and with the big international fashion brands. 
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies. 
  • University or College degree in Business, Economy or related field. 
  • Excellent English language skills. Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially with foreigner customers. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on an independent basis. 
  • High motivation, honesty, flexibility, carefulness and reliability. 
  • Able to work under the direction of a foreign management team. 
  • University degree, ideally with textile background, 
  • Work as a team member 
  • Reliable and trustworthy 
  • Willing to take risks and try new things 
  • To be assertive and convincing when necessary
