Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sales and business development to increase sales and market share in their respective assigned areas 
  • Have full accountability for a turnover of local country and manage a team of Sales and Account managers 
  • Liaise with customers and the client, leading negotiations pertinent to the business and close deal ASAP 
  • Ensure all company, client and Government legislation and service level agreements are fully implemented and complied with 
  • Provide motivational and innovative leadership 
  • Demonstrate gravitas in all elements of the role, remit and relationship with the client 
  • Understand that the successful partnership with the client is based on the relationships forged between both parties 
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure business is successful
Operations
  • Move a successful business partnership forward, maintaining excellent relationships and striving for world class status in all areas of operations 
  • Oversee and ensure that world class service is in place to all customers and clients in all areas of the business 
  • Ensure all operating standards are followed by all staff on a constant basis 
  • Coordinate the quality control feedback system, reporting to the client and company through KPI action plans 
  • Ensure all services are ready for operation at the specific time, to the standard laid down in the service level agreement and to ensure the company's contractual obligations are met in full 
  • Ensure all operational activities are undertaken in line with strict cost centre and budgetary constraints making savings where possible but without detracting from the service offered 
  • Monitor on a daily basis the standards achieved in each area and take corrective action where required 
  • Ensure all purchasing activity complies with company policy 
  • Ensure that product & stock is managed and delivered effectively and meets the strict requirements of the business with the Operation team leader in the assigned areas. 


Requirements
  • Min 5-year experience in a demanding, fast-paced hospitality environment and in a Sales Management position 
  • Must be smartphone and internet savvy 
  • Must speak and write English and the local language fluently 
  • Local market knowledge is a MUST with connections in the Hotels 
  • Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated 
  • Perceptive leader with a real passion for building a strong team 
  • Flexible to change and able to react very quickly to that change 
  • Financially and commercially very astute 
  • Unparalleled ability to build relationships (and understand the success of this role is dependent on successful client relationships) 
  • Ability to think on the spot 
  • A very consultative personal style in all aspects of the role 
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence up and down the chain 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills 
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and challenge your team to deliver consistently high results 
  • A passion for service excellence
